Why is Windows 10 File Explorer no longer displaying photo previews for any photo type including jpeg, tiff, dng, or arw sony raw photo format? I have all the appropiate items checked in the File Explorer properties. This was never a problem until recently.

    Windows 10 Tweaks

Pressing “Windows+Pause Break” (it’s up there next to scroll lock) opens the “System” Window.

Windows 10: In the new version of Windows, Explorer has a section called Quick Access. This includes your frequent folders and recent files. Explorer defaults to opening this page when you open a new window. If you’d rather open the usual This PC, with links to your drives and library folders, follow these steps:

    • Open a new Explorer window.
    • Click View in the ribbon.
    • Click Options.
    • Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
    • Click OK

  3. Image preview in File Explorer - Windows 10

    You mean this.....

    Goto..

    Control Panel

    All Control Panel Items

    Default Programs

    Set Default Programs

    Photo Gallery

    Set Program As Default

You will then get Preview on the right mouse click.

This is the solution to the 'right-click preview' not being in Windows 10. Thank you!
