Windows 10: cannot print actual email from windows 10 mail

I cannot print any emails from windows mail/calendar app from any of 4 email accounts yahoo, hotmail, comcast, and gmail. I can print same email from their web based clients. I have uninstalled all email accounts from windows mail then uninstalled windows mail. reinstalled windows mail with same outcome. Printer works from every other program and has always worked to print emails till recently.. restore does not correct the problem. the error that comes up is 0x80040154. thx for any help.

Cannot print from Mail and Calendar for Windows 10

• It started immediately after the last update to Win 10 Home. Mail and Calendar for MS Edge had been installed a couple of days earlier after the crash of Outlook 2007, which my local computer guy couldn't retrieve.
• I've reset the modem and router, run the trouble shooting parts of both printers (Brother HL-3170CDW and Epson WP-4530 - Use the Brother printer more, does a better job). When that didn't work, I contacted Brother who suggested I update the firmware, which
  didn't work. They then suggested that I update the drivers which also didn't work. They then suggested I uninstall the printer and reinstall it, which also didn't work. They then suggested it was a Microsoft problem with which I agree. We have 4 computers
  in the house and all but this single computer will print to these printers. I can also print from word, excel and by PDF to these printers. But I cannot print from mail - neither the mail message nor the attachments, if any.
• I cannot post a screenshot of the message. What I get is a short flash of the message which disappears in just a few seconds. The message reads variously as: the printer needs attention, the printer is turned off, the printer is off line, the printer is
  unable to print, the printer is asleep.
• It's Windows 10 Home 10.0.15063 Build 15063
• If I save the emails and attachments to pdf docs, I can print them most of the time. But, since leaving the computer last night at 10:30 PM until this morning at 8:30 PM, I received 153 emails. The workaround takes to much of my time to be useful. It's
  imperative that I find out what is wrong and fix it so that I can print directly from the mail program (By the way, I've found some online notes that suggest using Control-P. That also does NOT work. Any suggestions will be appreciated. Dale

 

Cannot print from Windows 10 Edge or Mail


I can use my printer OK from various apps / programs such as browsers and email clients but not at all from the key Windows 10 apps: Edge and Mail. When I try, I get the printer menu page but then (in red) a statement that the printer cannot be found. I can print from WordPad, so what I have to do is copy / paste to WordPad. This is not so difficult but I would like tp print directly from Edge and Mail.

The HP Deskjet 1510 Printer is connected via USB cable, not WiFi.

Any ideas?
