Windows 10: Cannot project via HDMI

How do I fix this problem. It happened only recently and I have never had a problem displaying via HDMI, but the screen will only be on pc screen only. It used to project with no problems, I had already reinstalled the display driver. When I click another one such as duplicate it goes back to pc screen. I have used many HDMI cords so I know the cord is not the problem. I also have no updates and do not see any of the prongs on the port having an issue.

Why exactly is ATi considered be better at HDMI?

I plug my HDMI cable into the card, then into my TV. Those are the steps that I have to do. All the steps you list make absolutely no sense to me.

Have you tried to reconfigure your audio settings? If not, try to change your audio output settings to HDMI by following the steps below:

• Press Windows ( ) key + X.
• Select Control Panel.
• Click Hardware & Sound.
• Click Manage Audio Devices.
• Select the HDMI device listed under the Playback tab.
• Click Set as default and click Ok.

Also, we suggest to update your audio driver.

Sound works fine only issue with me is underscan when connecting to my tv.
