Windows 10: Cannot re-activate my Win 10 copy after changing motherboard and CPU

Hello. I've recently changed motherboard and CPU, now I cannot re-activate my copy of Win 10. I've tried troubleshooting with clicking on "I changed hardware on this device recently", still doesn't work. I have a key, which is printed on a sticker, but it cannot be activated, because it says that the key was already activated. I guess it is attached to motherboard. Is it possible to fix?

Please be informed that your copy of Windows 10 should get activated automatically after changing the motherboard (once you enter the linked Microsoft Account details). But if you face any issues,
I suggest you to go through Phone activation to activate your Windows 10 copy.



To run Phone activation please follow the steps below:

• 
  Press Windows + R key.
  
• 
  Type slui 4 and hit enter.
  
• 
  Select the Country or
  Region.
  
• 
  Follow the on screen instructions.

ACTIVATING WIN 10 AFTER MOTHERBOARD CHANGE

Had to change out my motherboard and CPU and now trying to activate Win 10 but not able to do so !!!

Have a 'Digital Licence' received after upgrading Win 7 to Win 10 during the free offer.

Have tried the troubleshooter - this just goes in circles and tells me to try later - have tried at least 6 times 'later'.

This is very frustrating as it is interrupting my use of the PC and should not have been an issue at all.

Any advise is most welcome.

If I change motherboard,could I activate win 10 again?

I have bought new copy of Win 10 Home in shop when I built my PC from scratch.Now I need to change motherboard and processor.I have all the activation keys I entered first time(I have original CD too)but have seen people were unable to activate their copies
of Win 10 after changing motherboard.

Will I be able to do it flawlessly without having problems?

I DID NOT UPGRADE TO WINDOWS 10 ON THIS PC,I BOUGHT COPY OF WINDOWS 10!
