Windows 10: Cannot Redownload Minecraft for Windows

Hello,I recently built a new PC for myself and purchased Minecraft for Windows before on my previous PC. However, my game does not show up underneath my order history for my e-mail and I am unable to sign in to Minecraft without purchasing the game. I would rather not re-purchase this game as I have already paid twice for Java and Bedrock editions.In the Xbox app, it says the game is in my library and I have 59% of all the achievements collected. But when I launch the game from there my account is not recognized and the game asks my to make a full purchase.

If you visit the device manufacturer’s website & visit their downloads page is there anything listed so you can redownload the game?

If not then you may have to purchase Minecraft.

 

Homegroup For Minecraft Servers Or What?

It looks as if the existing minecraft server will use the new system without modification - It needs to be able to access the computers on the network in a two way link, which is the standard for Workgroup and Homegroup

It's not something I have any direct experience with but a quick read suggests to me that you will not need to do Much if any reconfiguration of the existing server

Launch the Microsoft Store

Click the ellipsis in the top right corner of the screen (...)

Click My Library

Scroll through the list then click the Minecraft app if its listed there, then click the download button.

If doesn't help, let us know and we can explore more options.
