Windows 10: Cannot Reinstall Microsoft/Windows Store - TRIED EVERYTHING

I bought a gaming laptop several years ago. First thing I did was to uninstall everything on it I didn't want or care to have. This was my first Win10 system, I uninstalled many of the default apps because this was a gaming only system. Including the Microsoft Store. At the time I didn't realize I would need it to install MS apps. Here I am years later, finally trying to figure out a way to get the MS Store back on this laptop so my son can play Minecraft Bedrock on it.


I have tried everything. I mean EVERYTHING.

Running WSRESET gives me an error "You'll need a new app to open this ms-store link"


I have tried reinstalling via Powershell. When I run this: Get-AppxPackage -allusers Microsoft.WindowsStore Foreach {Add-AppxPackage -DisableDevelopmentMode -Register "$$_.InstallLocation\AppXManifest.xml"}

I get nothing. Nothing happens at all.


I have also tried to run a more lengthy script that reinstalls ALL pre-installed apps. Didn't work.


I have gone into App & Features, it doesn't even show up in there.


I have restored my Windows, both with keeping files and removing files. Then tried all of the above steps again. Didn't work.


I have downloaded the MS 10 ISO and used it to reinstall on top of my previous OS. No store. I repeated the above steps trying to reinstall. Still nothing.


What is crazy is that all the other pre-installed MS apps that I uninstalled all came back Like Cortana. But Not the Windows Store.


I am out of options. I have no idea where to go from here. I consider myself a knowledgeable user of Windows. And a good troubleshooter. But this has me so frustrated. What else can I possibly do here? How is it that reinstalling Windows OS isn't fixing this?

Have you tried to reset the Windows Store as stated in the above response?

If the issue still persists after deploying the above troubleshooting steps, try the below and check if it helps.

Step 1: I suggest you to run Windows Store Apps Troubleshooter
and check.

1. Press
Windows + X keys from the keyboard, click on Control Panel.

2. In the
Control Panel window, select Category and then select
Large icons.

3. Click on
Troubleshooting.

4. Click
View all and then click Windows Store Apps.

5. Click
Next and follow on-screen instructions.

Step 2: I suggest you to install all the pending updates on your device.

Steps:

• Connect to the internet.
• Press Windows key and type
  updates.
• Click on Check for updates.
• Under Windows Updates, click on
  Check for updates.
• Try to install the updates being shown.

Did not work for me. I troed it 3 times, allways got an error.

Microsoft signals end of Paint program

Microsoft has confirmed that it will continue to offer its graphics program Paint.

In a recent update, it had listed Paint as a feature that would be either removed or no longer developed.

Paint, renowned for its simplicity, has been part of the Windows operating system since its launch in 1985.

Microsoft suggested it would not remain on Windows 10 by default but did say it would be available for free on the Windows Store.
