Windows 10: Cannot reinstall windows 11 - Error 0x1900101

Hi, I have been having some issues with my laptop due to a Malware that targeted .NET optimization service windows 11, and after installing MalwareBytes and solving the issue the system seems to be having some issues and I believe some files have been damaged so I am trying to reinstall windows but I am getting error code 0x1900101Any idea how to solve the issue? Thanks!

To address your concern, please follow the steps below on how to uninstall and reinstall Internet Explorer 11.

• Type Windows feature in the Search box. Click on Turn Windows feature on or off.
  
• Uncheck Internet Explorer. A window will pop up, click OK.
  
• Click the OK button. Click Restart when prompted.
  
• Repeat the steps to reinstall Internet Explorer (Check the box).

Update 10586 fails with error 0x1900101-0x30018


I attempted to update my desktop with Windows 10 x64 build 10240 to 10586 using the ISO. The update gets as far as the second section and stalls at 32% - I left it for hours with no change. Fortunately powering off the system resulted in 10240 being restored. After the system booted to the desktop the error 0x1900101-0x30018 was given as the reason for the update failure. I'm not sure how to proceed. I've been able to install all other updates since the release of 10240 and the system has no issues with hardware or drivers as far as I can tell. I also have a laptop running identical security software and it updated to 10586 without incident. Any suggestions appreciated.
