Windows 10: cannot remote with a different user profile in windows

I am able to remote to my target laptop with my microsoft account, but cannot if another user account signs in to the same laptop, and tried to remote to it. I have added both accounts to be able to rdp from the settings on the target laptop. I do not want to delete and recreate that user profile, may I know what is the problem and how to resolve, thanks

Hello,

When attempting to login to my computer, I get the following message:

"The User Profile Service service failed the sign-in.

User profile cannot be loaded."

I referred to this Help article,You receive a "The User Profile Service failed the logon” error
message,

but the only difference is I only have one user profile on this computer. So, I can't login with another user to go through the steps listed in this post.

Any suggestions?

Using controllers on different windows user profiles

Thanks for your comprehensive response.

I worked through each step and none seemed to make a difference: with the new profile the problem was the same, and the DS4 windows specific suggestions also didn't seem to make a difference.

It's worth pointing out that my controller is connected via a standard cable, not via bluetooth. The cable and connection port seem to be all in order as they work fine on the default user profile.

In addition, I should also point out that while the programs don't detect any connected controllers, settings and device manager both display the correct controller as being connected. As it works on the other profile, all drivers are updated and fine too. Thanks for the suggestions again, I hope we can find a fix to this
