Windows 10: Cannot remove Desknotes 2.4.1

I tried to install the latest version of Desknotes but I keep getting a message that the existing version cannot be removed. I had removed it with an uninstaller and checked bot the files and registry and it does not exist. I contacted Desknotes and left a complaint but I got no results in months. Their website is nothing but a lsit of issues and apparently relies on customers.

Nokia Software Updater 2.4.1

Yes its true, Version 2.4.1 had a major bug in Windows 7 it had issue with USB (only in Win 7). So it was not was released for public.



Version 2.4.1 works very well in Windows XP, But not in Win 7.



Version 2.4.2 is been tested, will be released once all the test process is completed successfully.



All Windows 7 users have to wait for some more time.

 

Microsoft Reader for WM 6

Can you shed any light on what this error means (on running 2.4.1 on WM6)

'Microsoft Reader encountered an internal error. ID number: 010'

Might use Task Manager and assure Desknotes is not running, may have to click More details at the bottom to get the expanded list. If it is still running you may have to use End task to close it, take it out of memory, then try the install again. Have seen times when necessary to use a program like CCleaner to uninstall. Program was removed with Auslogics Uninstaller, Ccleaner is normally used at least weekly and there is no files showing under a search of files and the registry.
