Windows 10: Cannot remove orphaned email account in windows 10

Hello there, I hope someone can help me with a big problem .


When i go to windows 10 -> settings -> accounts - email and accounts

Then under accounts ->using other apps, I see two old email addresses which i need to remove.

However when i click on an address which I want to remove, I only get the option "manage" .

If I click on manage, it opens a browser and then tries to open my old companies web access which has been deactivated foor many months now!!

So now it is orphaned and i have no idea how to remove it!!??


Please can somebody help me??

Remove account


I suggest you backup your personalized files first before removing the account.
To delete an account, follow these steps:

1. Press WIN + X keys and click Command Prompt (Admin) from the menu.
2. Type the following command and press Enter. Replace test with the name of your sister's account. Code:

   net user test /del

 

How to delete an adult account in the Family Settings.

To resolve your issue, we suggest that you follow the steps below:

• As an adult in the family account, sign in with your Microsoft account.
• Under Your family, click
  Remove.
  
• Click the child account you want to remove, and click Remove.
• You will get an email confirmation once the child has been removed from the family.

Note: If you removed a Child account, it will be tagged as an "Orphaned account" and you will need to attach another "Parent account".

Unauthorized Emails from my account?

It is more than likely that your email account was hacked, either by a virus sniffing your password, or just simply hacked.

Either way, change your password on your email account. Unfortunately the damage by already be done. They already have your contact list and your email address associated with that contact list. There is nothing stopping them from sending out emails using their own SMTP servers to everyone on your contact list and claiming the emails are from your email address. They don't actually have to have access to your yahoo account or even any yahoo server to send emails to people that come from your address.
