Windows 10: Cannot rename utilman.exe to cmd.exe

I renamed utilman.exe to utilman1.exe, and cmd.exe to utilman.exe as per this video, in order to change the password of my local account after losing access following a bios update. This worked and I was able to regain access to my account, however I now find myself unable to reverse this change. I have tried what the video shows going into Troubleshoot -> Command prompt on restart, and I get the error that the file couldn't be found. I've attempted to do it with an Administrator Powershell terminal, and it fails due to permissions. I found a guide online that involves enabling powershell

We suggest that you try renaming the .exe file to a different extension name (e.g. .bak) and see if it works. Once you were able to send the files, you can just tell the recipients to rename the files that you sent to .exe.

My .exe files are renamed by putting g ahead of it.

All the exe files of various softwares are copied and renamed as g____.exe.For eg my fifa18.exe is now just 562kb in size and there is another .exe named gfifa18.exe of size 176496kb.
