    Cannot Reset Microsoft Password


    For about a week I've been receiving a 2FA code in my email inbox multiple times per day. I assume my user/password combo was part of a data leak and someone is using dark web software to attempt my user/pass combo along with 1000s of other peoples. I attempted to reset my password via microsoft's website. I can log in ok, but when I attempt to reset the password, it attempts to send me a 2FA code and it says "sorry there was a problem". This is probably because my account is getting bombarded with attempts from the person trying to log into my account.I cannot find a Microsoft live chat o

    Thanks for the reply, but it does not help me. The website does not proceed past step 4. After entering the security code, the website does not proceed to step 5. It does not give an error message, it simply greys out the next and cancel buttons and hangs
    indefinitely.

    I'll try your "Get account help by email" suggestion and post the solution here when I've found one.
