Windows 10: cannot reset win10 laptop

i know how to reset my computer to factory settings, as ive done it in the past. i go to settings > recovery > reset this pc, i click get started, and the loading circle appears next to my cursor for a couple seconds, and flickers, and then does nothing. yes, ive tried restarting and everything, it changes nothing. any answers appreciated, thanks!

Multiple Issues After Resetting Laptop


Hi,

I recently reset my laptop and since then I've been experiencing a whole host of issues:

• Windows search bar doesn't work
• Shop app won't open
• Won't allow me to change location settings
• Clock/calendar on my toolbar is unresponsive when I click on it

Any ideas what the problem might be, please? Advice / suggestions are very much appreciated!

Cannot reset Win10

I've tried 3 times to reset an old Acer laptop that's running Win10. I need to ship it out and don't want any of my digital footprint left on it. I go through the steps to reset under Recovery, and it chugs through as if it were doing something, but hours
later it comes back with a message that it could not reset the computer and nothing was changed. (I did this already on another laptop, and it worked fine, so I don't think I'm missing steps.)

Are there other approaches to resetting that I can try?
