Windows 10: Cannot Resize Folders in File Explorer Windows 10

I unfortunately bought a new HP Envy laptop with windows 10 Pro. The size of the folders in File Explorer are nothing like the size they were on my old Windows 10 Home Version laptop. Actually the View Large icons are the same size as the View Extra Large Icons. HP support techs know nothing. I tried personalization, display settings, advanced display settings, device manager, file explorer folder options, Intel graphics settings & system settings. I am aware that you can use the Ease of Access Center & make certain groups of windows or fonts bigger but I do not want a whole group bigger. The only other thing I have a size problem with are pop up windows when I am in a program & a window pops up for further choices. They are so small I cannot read them & it will not allow me to resize it by dragging it. I have read a few suggestions on google but but none work for me. I am at a loss. Can these settings be customized for the things I mentioned? Please help!

File Explorer does not resize when using Windows 10. It resizes to a small rectangle and flickers and then it crashes.

I recently installed Windows 10. Big mistake.

Now when I use File Explorer, it crashes whenever I try to resize the window. I click on the resize button and the window resizes to a small, vertical rectangle and flickers uncontrollably. The only thing I can then do is click on the red X button which
then gives me a dialogue box that asks if I want to close the program or wait for it. I always choose to close it. That closes File Explorer completely, I can then reopen it and return to work with my folders.

Is there a Microsoft written and released update that fixes this BIG BIG BUG?

 

File Explorer has gone crazy after last nights upgrade.

My only has icons instead of full descriptions. I can not get back to a point where I have tabs that actually say something. Please tell me how to get my view repaired? help... Help.... HELP!!!
