Windows 10: Cannot Right Click on TouchPad

I have seen several FAQ's, several websites, tutorials, and even response by windows developers in reinstalling software, updating drivers, restarting the computer, etc and NONE OF IT is enough to fix this issue which is that no matter what I try my computer will not let me right click, double finger scroll, 3 finger scroll, etc on the trackpad. I can do it on my mouse but the touchpad doesnt do anything. I have tried to find answers but none of them solve this, and by the way there is several times where i click onto a tab and then i cant tap anything even with the mouse so i have to ctrl + a

I would suggest the following steps :

• Press Windows + X
• Click on Device Manager
• Right click on TouchPad drivers in the list.
• Choose Upgrade Drivers
• Reboot computer

Please answer the following question:

Did you log in to the system using a standard user account or an administrator user account?

In order to make changes in Device Manager you MUST be logged on as an administrator.

After logging in to the administrator Account, I would suggest you first try updating the driver.

Follow the steps to update the Touchpad drivers:

• 
  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Find the relevant Touchpad driver and right click on it.
  
• 
  Select Properties and then go to the Driver Tab. Click Update.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

If this doesn't solve your problem, you have to uninstall and then reinstall your driver in compatibility mode.

  Press Windows key + X key and click Device Manager.
  
• 
  Find the relevant Touchpad driver and right click on it.
  
• 
  Select Properties and then go to the Driver Tab. Click Uninstall.
  
• 
  Restart the computer and check.
  

Now go to your manufacturer's website and re install the driver in compatibility mode.

Scrolling up + down (left +right) via touchpad, does no longer work.

      Let the driver to install and then check the functionality.
