    Hi all,Ever since updating to Windows 11, I have not been able to save files using the "save as" option within any of the applications that I have been usingWord, Adobe, Nitro, etc.. Every time that I attempt to save a file to our work network drive using "save as", let's say using Microsoft Word I receive the following: UPLOAD FAILED We're sorry this didn't work. Try saving again later and if that still doesn't work, click save a copy.I have to then save the file on my computer and then drag and drop the file to the network drive.There is a twist in the story here! I try to save the file to

    Saves log files ?

    You can either read the files in Windows or my preferred method is.....

    Download CCcleaner from here...........

    You can then run cleaner, you will see the log files listed, then if you right click you can save as a text file and then have a read. You may also get an "error reporting" log listed seperatly.

    • Which account was used to sign in to Office, when the user attempted to save files to the mapped drive?


    This could be due to the incorrect user information used. You may want to try the steps listed below and check if it works for you:

    • Open Word 2016, and navigate to
      File > Account
      .
    • Sign out of all the accounts under User Information.
    • Restart Office, navigate to
      File > Account
      .
    • Sign In to use the work email for user information.
    • Now, try saving the Office documents to the mapped drive.


    If the issue persists, as the issue is related to Server, I suggest you to post your query in the
    TechNet

    , where we have support professionals who are well equipped with the knowledge on Servers to assist you with this.

    Office 365 Word: Mail Merge - Is it Supported for editing if the Source file is Saved in a Network Shared Drive?

    Hi RaiO365,

    I tested on my side step by step according to the steps you provided for me, and the result was same with you.
    It may be because the way to access local files and access files on the network drive is different, so it can be saved after changing the source file locally, but not on the network drive.

    My suggestion is that you can update source file first, then mail merge file.
