Windows 10: Cannot Schedule Offline Files

Discus and support Cannot Schedule Offline Files in Windows 10 Network and Sharing to solve the problem; Hi, Whilst trying to set up offline files to work on a schedule, I have been stuck with this error: 'An error occurred displaying sync schedules....     Cannot Schedule Offline Files


    Hi,

    Whilst trying to set up offline files to work on a schedule, I have been stuck with this error: 'An error occurred displaying sync schedules. Error: 0x80070002 The system cannot find the file specified.' (see attached screenshot)

    There seems to be very little information about this error online, could anyone help me with this?

    So far I have tried running SFC (which said 'some files could not be repaired') and following the instructions in this article. Neither of these worked.

    Sync Schedule error after windows 10 upgrade

    When I try to edit the schedule for offline files I get the following message:

    An error occurred displaying sync schedules.

    Error: 0x80070002

    The system cannot find the file specified.

    I've tried the update troubleshooter which didn't help.

    I've downloaded the latest updates which didn't help.

    Why can't windows just create the file ?

    An luck in the last three months? I just performed an upgrade from Win8.1 for the only user in our organization who "needs" to use Offline Files. As if Offline Files wasn't bad enough already, now we can't even schedule the sync??
