Windows 10: Cannot setup Fingerprint recognition

Using Windows 11 pro. I have set up Windows Hello PIN. When I try to setup Fingerprint recognition, it asks for a PIN. After entering the PIN, the box to put the PIN keeps on coming back. The Fingerprint driver is set up under Biometrics devices and appears to be working properly.

Can I have fingerprint recognition and facial recognition simultaneously active as sign-in options?

I used to have fingerprint recognition on my laptop setup as a sign-in option. I then setup facial recognition as well. Now I can't sign-in using the fingerprint sensor. Is it possible to have both active? Sometimes one is more convenient than the other.

I tried to go to settings to turn fingerprint recognition on and it's listed as currently unavailable.

I'm using a Lenovo ThinkPad T14s Gen 2.

Windows Hello Fingerprint Setup not working

I have same issue with my laptop HP DV6 Pavilion.WIndows hello finger print setup is not working even after this above solution .When i setup finger print sensor i recieve error something went wrong.
