Windows 10: Cannot share or set permissions for default Folders - Homegroup Issue

Dear All,
I hope that someone can help me.
I am setup as an administrator within Window 10.

For some unknown reason I cannot share or set permissions for the default
Documents folder
Music folder
or
Printers and Drivers to be shared across a Homegroup.

THE EXACT ISSUE:
Normally when creating a Homegroup, you are asked to

Choose what to share on the network. By default Windows sets Pictures, Videos, Music, Printers & Devices as Shared. However, the Documents folder is marked as Not shared.





PROBLEM:
I ONLY GET THE OPTIONS TO SHARE

Pictures and Videos (see below)
No options for sharing
Music
Documents
Printers & Devices




I have altered the settings within "Change sharing options for different network profiles" as required to no avail.

Is there a user account setting or registry setting that may have changed to cause this to happen?

Any help or advice would be much appreciated.

Sanjiv, I asked if you'd right clicked those missing folders to choose Share with: Homegroup? Can you try that now?

Hi Sanjiv. I'm Greg, a volunteer installation specialist and 8 year WIndows MVP here to help you.

Have you right clicked on the User folders for these to Share To: Homegroup. This is almost always required as well as the Advanced Sharing Settings under Sharing Options in Network and Internet Settings.

You can also run the HomeGroup and Share Folders troubleshooters at Settings>Update & Security>Troubleshoot.

Just use standard Network folder sharing. Microsoft has not gotten Homegroup right and continues to not fix issues, due to it requires IPv6 to be active and firewall ports open for that service through ICS service.

It seems my issue is around permission and ownership for the drives - operating system and data being changed.
I need to solve that.

Every time you update Windows to the next version, Homegroup will break.
