Windows 10: Cannot sign in on my second laptop

Hello,2 days ago Microsoft decided that it has detected suspicions activity from Sweden, and decided that it must block my account, and force me to change my passwordlater after logging back in I tried to see what exactly the activity was - but see no details, just "suspicions activity from Sweden" - zero information if this was just bruteforce attempt, or if someone actually managed to log in with my password, before locking the account - as it makes absolutely zero seance to force me to change password for just attempted unsuccessful login from another location.Or without giving me the op

Your Microsoft account needs you to sign in again-recent credentials

Yes the correct or current info is in the Settings/Accounts/Your email and accounts.
The steps in the tutorial included signing in after deleting a listing. I couldn't see where that was relevant since its a second listing. It looks like I have to voluntarily do the 'sign in' so I can avoid doing that. I'm locked out for 30 days anyway.
Perhaps its time to set up a stand alone user account in that laptop <grin> Too nerve wracking dealing with this MSAccount.

Hi,

About your concern with typing the password after being idle, it is actually recommended to activate for security reasons.

If you wish to disable it, I suggest you to follow the below steps and check if it helps.

• Go to Settings.
• Click on Accounts.
• Click on Sign in options.
• On the right side, you will see required sign in.
• Change it to Never.
