Cannot start a "SlimeVR Server" app after upgrading to Windows 11

The app is used to connect my trackers for VR, after updating to Windows 11 it infinitely says "connecting to the server". I redownloaded the server multiple times and still the same issue.I asked the SlimeVR Server support, and said that my error is very strange, and it's a Windows issue. Please help! Here are the logs Ctrl + Shift + J[SERVER] 19:31:41 [SEVERE] java.lang.UnsatisfiedLinkError: C:\Users?????\AppData\Local\Temp\jna-993795121\jna4806077493337112496.dll: Can't find dependent libraries[SERVER] 19:31:41 [SEVERE] at java.base/jdk.internal.loader.NativeLibraries.loadNative Metho

Windows 11 Upgrade and Apps in Start Menu

    Hello,

I just upgraded from Windows 10 to Windows 11. I am unable to locate all of my Apps that were in my Windows 10 Start Menu.

    • I have found some but how do I locate all of them so that I can place them in my Start menu?
Also, there was an app/program (a snipping tool/screen shot app) that was with Windows 10 that I liked and I don't remember the app/program name. I am unsure if I downloaded it or if it came with Windows 10.

    • Is there a way to locate all apps/programs specific to screen shots and snipping tools so I can locate this App?
I used the app to take screen shots and to cut and edit some images online.

    • Is there a way to locate the app name by opening up a previous screen shot image I took using this app? I don't see anything under Properties when I open an image I used using the app.
I didn't expect the upgrade to Windows 11 would have lost some of my settings and ease of locating some of the apps/programs I previously saved. It seems like half of the apps are unable to be located. I appreciate any and all of your help.

    Sincerely,

    Tommy

Start apps from windows 10 not displayed in Windows 11. Where are they?

In the Windows 10 Start menu, I had arranged apps in orderly groups. In Windows 11, my apps and groups are not in the start menu. I only see suggested apps, a list of all apps and a search.

This is extremely annoying. How can I recover my app groups from the Windows 10 start menu in Windows 11?

Windows 11 Upgrade and Apps in Start Menu

Perhaps you are asking something I wondered at first, when I had just installed Windows 11. Where is the list of apps, when you open the start menu??

At first, I used the search tool to find the ones that immediately came to mind, and pin them to the start menu. I thought, not a good design.

Then I saw the little nondescript button, upper right of the start menu, which says something like "View all apps." (Sorry, I'm on a Win10 computer right this minute.) Push that button, and all of your installed programs are listed in alphabetical order, just as they were in Windows 10.

In Windows 10, the complete list was right there, along with the ones pinned to the Start menu. To me, this is one of several examples of "change for the sake of change," in Windows 11, which work against ease of use. Another blatant example is how to find and connect to a WiFi hotspot. Change for the sake of change, not for ease of use.
