Windows 10: cannot stop program trying to start after reboot

I tried to install a game yesterday. It said the installation files are corrupt and to buy the game again *Banghead

Now every time I reboot my system setup.exe fails every time, telling me the installation files are corrupt.

The restarting of apps after a reboot is something I've never been fond of, now it's driving me insane. I can't find how to stop this. The files don't even exist on my system anymore, and the installation DVD is not loaded, so I don't know where it's even getting this setup.exe from.

I've removed all references to the file from the registry (that I could find), and I've scanned my system for any of the files. Nothing exists.

Game was GTA V.

How do I stop this error?

Start tiles lose their icons on reboot/restart

You may try the steps listed below and check if it works:

• Copy paste the script given below and save it as ‘RefreshMenuIcons.bat’ on the desktop.

for /R “%APPDATA%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\” %%f in (*.lnk) do copy /b “%%f”+,, “%%f” 1>nul

for /R “%ALLUSERSPROFILE%\Microsoft\Windows\Start Menu\Programs\” %%f in (*.lnk) do copy /b “%%f”+,, “%%f” 1>nul

• Right click on the ‘RefreshMenuIcons.bat’ and run it as an administrator.
  
• Wait for it to complete.
  
• Reboot and check if it works.

Why did the startup window get cleared?

I didn't missed any step, the list was gone and gone , even after using lot of programs the programs were not listed in that list.
