Windows 10: Cannot Sync Settings after linking to new Microsoft account

I have got two Microsoft account, let say account A and B. Originally, I logged in the Windows 10 with MS account A. Now I want to switch to account B without creating a new user in the OS. Therefore, I unlinked the MS account A and switched to a local account first. The local account still uses the same profile and home directory of previous account A. I then linked/signed in with MS account B. Now, I still use the same profile and home directory as before but with account B. However, there are some problems:1 let say, if I try to unlinked account B and switch to a local account, it will ask

Hi Michael,

We suggest that you manually sync your Microsoft account by following these steps:

• Go to Settings.
• Tap email + accounts.
• Tap and hold your Microsoft account.
• Tap sync.

Check also if you have the correct date and time set on your phone.

Not sure what else to suggest but since you mentioned it, try variations of the sync settings on your W8.1 phone. It is just possible that this is causing some confusion with your Microsoft account and the W10 settings.

Looking at the picture 4 of the step 4 of this link http://www.c-sharpcorner.com/UploadF...in-windows-10/ , I noticed that the window for data synchronization, which lets choose which data to sync, is never displayed when I step from a local to Microsoft account.

Why this window does not appear?
