  1. cannot take ownership of folders

I get permission errors when I try to open some folders in Windows 10 desktop. I try to take ownership as described in How to take ownership of a Folder. I am the administrator. I'm the only user. When I do I get the following errors.

an error occurred applying security information. Failed to enumerate objects in the container. Access is denied.

I've searched this forum and I I find similar posts but they usually have to do with someone who has replaced a hard drive or something. I haven't done anything to my computer.

    :)

  2. WindowsApps folder ownership

    Hello,

As I know, the default owner for WindowsApps folder is TrustedInstaller. You can try restoring ownership to TrustedInstaller, refer first reply here for the required steps:

    Restore WindowsApps permissionss to TrustedInstaller

    Hope this helps!
