Windows 10: Cannot transfer a full retail digital license to a new laptop

I bought 4 years back a full retail digital license for WIN10 PRO for a PC that i had from Microsoft Store. This PC suddenly died and i had not the chance to deactivate Windows.I bought a new laptop and install Win11 PRO and logged in with my Microsoft account hoping somehow that the old digital license would activate my new machine.No luck. Tried the troubleshooter, tried the option that says i have changed my hardware... nothing. The problem is also that i removed the old device from my microsoft account because i thought that way i could free the license for my new laptop...Tried the micr

Results:

I was not able to transfer my digital license W10 Pro to a new computer using the media tool.

I was able to upgrade my OEM W10 Home to the Pro version on the same computer without problems though. On my new laptop, I had to purchase a retail version of W10.

 

Transfer digital license to new laptop

I purchased a laptop with Windows 11 Home preinstalled. I have a digital license for Windows 10 pro on an old PC. I would like to transfer the Pro license to the new laptop - either Windows 10 pro or Windows 11 pro. How do I transfer the digital License?

Transferring Digital License to New PC

I want to transfer a retail digital license for Windows 10 Home Edition, purchased online, from my Lenovo desktop, which stopped working, to a new Dell desktop.

I have tried all of the suggestions and MS Support, but I can't get through to talk to an actual person.

I am in Egypt.

Any suggestions?
