    Cannot turn on bitlocker


    I had a corrupt windows profile and had to reinstall windows last week. I ended up with two hdd not the C drive showing the yellow exclamation point in explorer. I did a bunch of research and discovered it is a bitlocker issue. I used the command prompt to turn bitlocker off it would not turn off any other way on one of the drives as a test the yellow exclamation point is now gone and bitlocker is off and now I cannot get it to turn on. When I try to turn it on using the command prompt it tells me bitlocker won't work with my version of windows despite the fact it is ON the two other dri

When we finally got out of recovery, the OS apparently turned Bitlocker on its own so we don't have a 48-character key to unlock it....
