Windows 10: Cannot turn on the Mobile Hotspot in Windows 10 ...help please!

I recently installed a new Tp Link Wifi pci wireless adapter in my Windows desktop. The hotspot was working just fine after I installed this, up until a few nights ago, and haven't been able to turn it on since. I don't know if the card has anything to do with this since I had used a different usb wifi adapter before and the hotspot feature did this same thing with that previous adapter, but did turn on again on after a few hours.


I have tried everything under the sun to try and fix this including restarting the mobile service under "Services" and tried manually restarting the "host service" under command prompt, restarted the "Internet Connection Sharing ICS " ..etc....


Is this a glitch in a new Win10 update or is there a setting Im not fixing / trying ?

Turned Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot "ON" but not visible on devices..

Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot Not working

Hi,

Your Bluetooth connection may be enabled which prevents you from setting up your mobile hotspot. To have this addressed, we suggest turning off the Bluetooth connection and see if you're able to set up your mobile hotspot. Follow these steps:

• Open Settings and select Devices.
• Click Bluetooth, then toggle it OFF.

Once done, check if you can now turn on your computer's mobile hotspot. Let us know how it goes.

Projecting to this PC with Mobile Hotspot turned on ?

Hi.

I'm on Windows 10 Pro version 1909 trying to cast my Android phone to Windows 10 with Mobile Hotspot turned on.

The phone is connected to the internet with Windows 10 Mobile Hotspot, but the screen cast is only is working when Mobile Hotspot is turned off.

Is there a way to screen cast with Mobile Hotspot turned on ?
