Windows 10: Cannot uninstall German Language pack

I bought a new laptop in Germany. But I am not using the German language. Wanted to remove the German language from the language tab. While it is present in the language shortcut, I cannot uninstall the German Language pack at Settings->Time & Language->Region & Language tab. Why? Because I don't see German in the list of language packs I have installed. Please help.Best regards,Vlad

Changed Windows system language, unable to uninstall old language pack

My computer was running a German version of Windows 7 Professional. I upgraded to Windows 10 Pro, which supports changing the display language. I prefer having my Windows in English, so I went to Control Panel > Language, added "English (United States)"
at the top of my language list, and installed the language pack. Under Control Panel > Region I also changed the system locale to "English (United States)" and copied the language and region settings to the welcome screen and new user accounts.

Now Windows displays everything in English, but I cannot uninstall the German language pack. When I go to "Control Panel > Language" and double-click "German (Germany)", under "Windows display language" it just says "Available" with no option to uninstall it.
When I run lpksetup.exe and select "Uninstall display languages", I can only uninstall "English (English)". Next to "German (Deutsch)" is the message "Language is the system language (default language of the user interface).".

Is there any way to completely change my Windows language so I can uninstall the German language pack? Or is German now forever baked into my Windows, because I upgraded from a German Windows 7?

you have to take the phone to a nokia care point and ask them to install German language pack on it. note that if you reset or update the phone, that language pack will be lost.

If the Windows French language pack or German language pack were already installed on your computer, it should appear on the list of your Preferred languages. To check, just navigate to
Settings > Time and Language > Region & language. Under Languages you'll see your
Preferred languages. Kindly look into the list and check if both language packs appear.

If both languages appear on the list and you want to use it without changing the current Windows display language, then just add its keyboard. Follow these steps:

1. On the Preferred languages, just click the French or German language pack, then click
   Options.
2. Click the plus sign to Add a keyboard.
3. Select your preferred keyboard layout.
