Windows 10: Cannot uninstall Google Drive or install a new one

I believe something has happened when upgrading from the old Google Backup app to the new Google Drive.I clearly see it in Apps & features, so it must have been installed, but there is no way to run the application. This is what I'm seeing when I try to uninstall it:I tried to manually run this file from this folder, however I was denied access to it even with Administrator rights.This is what I'm seeing when I'm trying to install it without uninstalling:I tried to manually remove the Google Drive folder from the system and all its traces from the registry, however this did not help. How do you uninstall chipset drivers?

I'm installing a new mobo so I need to uninstall the intel 865g drivers to make way for the P35 drivers.

Can't find any uninstall options in add/remove programs and intel chipset inst listed in driver cleaner.

Any suggestions? *Confused

 

problem uninstalling google chrome

Hi,

Since you already uninstalled Google Chrome using the Programs and Features, Google notifications may still be running in the background processes. We suggest that you follow these steps on how to end the Google Chrome process:

• On your keyboard, press Ctrl+Alt+Delete.
• Select Task Manager.
• Under Processes, locate Google Notifications or Google Chrome.
• Right click on them and select End Task.
• Double check under Programs and Features if Google Chrome is completely gone.

Let us know if these steps worked.
