Windows 10: Cannot update Microsoft Store app, Code: 0x80070032

I am trying to download an update to an app I have on the Microsoft Store. When I go to the Downloads section of My Library, it shows the update to be available, and when I click 'download' it looks like it's about to start downloading for a few seconds before throwing up the error. When I click on the error, a dialogue box comes up saying 'Something unexpected happened', with the error code 0x80070032.

Edit: Resetting the Microsoft Store app and restarting my PC did not fix the issue.

I see what you mean about the password but i think its a backward step to compromise my Microsoft password to to use the app store

Since running the troubleshooter for Windows app didn't work, we suggest resetting Windows Store by following the steps below to resolve your issue:

• Type Apps & features on search box/Cortana and click on it.
• Look for Microsoft Store app and click on Advance options.
• Click Reset button and retest.
