    Cannot update past Win 10 v.1803 Build 17134.48


    Currently running Windows 10 Home x64 v.1803 Build 17134.48.
    ANY attempt to update past that - whether via Windows Update or by installing in-place upgrade ISO from USB - results in BSOD repair loop w/ UNEXPECTED_KERNEL_MODE_TRAP error. This includes Builds 17134.165, 17134.191 and 17134.228. In each case, on subsequent restart the system goes into the "can't repair" loop and has to be reverted to a previous image.

    System: Dell Inspiron 660 w/ Intel(R) Core(TM) i5-3330 CPU @ 3.00GHz "IvyBridge"
    Memory: 8GB DDR3 [PC3-12800]
    BIOS: Version A13 dated 05/22/2018 (confirmed latest available)
    HDD: Seagate 1TB SATA-600 7200rpm HEALTH=GOOD (Reallocated Sector Count = 0)
    Video: Intel Corporation Xeon E3-1200 v2/3rd Gen Core processor Graphics Controller [Dell]

    All Dell boot-time and support.dell.com diags PASS.
    All 3rd party AV software uninstalled - using Windows Defender only

    Windows Startup Repair couldn't repair your PC.
    sfc /scannow reports "Windows Resource Protection did not find any integrity violations."
    Dism.exe /Online /Cleanup-Image /RestoreHealth took a while then reported "The operation completed successfully."

    Windows Update doesn't show Build 1803

    I have a Dell XPS-13 laptop running Windows 10 build 17134. I have tried running Windows update multiple times, but it never shows build 1803. How do I get Windows Update to install build 1803?

    Should stay Version 1803 build 17133.1 or Go Version 1803 build 17134¿

    A serious bug was found in Windows 10 17133 forcing Microsoft to discard it and replace it with Windows 10 build 17134.

    You will have to upgrade to it, since Microsoft will not be supporting build 17133 with updates.
