    Cannot update to 24H2 Windows 11


    I have a 2022 HP Omen 16-n0000sa with Ryzen 7 6800H RTX 3070Ti Windows 11. I tried to update to the latest windows 11 version. When the update completed, the laptop restarted and a black screen showed "BIOS Update failed" and asked to connect a USB with the BIOS to boot from. Then the laptop booted into Windows 11 normally and on the device manager under Firmware > System firmware it said that the system firmware had an error "Device had a problem starting" Every time I restarted the laptop, the "BIOS Update failed" screen kept appearing and then booting up normally.     There are no currently listed problems resetting version 24H2 of Windows 11 and no specific steps you need to perform, are you experiencing any problems with that insider build that is causing you to perform a Windows reset?

    WINDOWS 11 24H2

    Windows 11 24H2 is now shipping on new Copilot+PCs. However, Microsoft has not announced when it will be released for other Windows 11 users. By all accounts, it will be a significant update.
