  2. Photoshop Elements 5 / Windows 10 Incompatibility?

It seems that Photoshop element 5 is working fine in windows 10 build 1151, but fails in build 1607.

How can I defer the update to build 1607?

Or, perhaps make PE5 work in build 1607 ?

Cannot update to Build 1151 windows 10

Then if that don't work ...run sfc /scannow from your command prompt admin to see if it finds any errors on your windows, and can't repair them. If your current windows is messed up, you can't upgrade to latest version. Have to repair your current version 1st.

Make sure you have Secure boot OFF in your bios
Do you have any 3rd party AV installed ?
Do you have any 3rd party firewall installed?
Run chkdsk c: /f from your command prompt, this should tell you to reboot computer to run.

Cannot update to Build 1151 windows 10

You might have to do a clean install then ....because some of those errors are reporting problems with your partitions.
You could try removing bitdefender and not just disabling it .....
