    Cannot update to version 21H2 - error 0xc1900101


    Hello,My computer has attempted to update multiple times, but always fails. Now, when I click update and restart since the update requires a restart it just spins and doesn't update.

    Error updating Windows 10 to version 21H2, error 0xC1900101 - 0x40017

    I am on Windows 10 version 20H2, trying to upgrade to version 21H2 and getting error 0xC1900101 - 0x40017



    The installation failed in the SECOND_BOOT phase with an error during the BOOT operation.



    I ran SFC and chkdsk and didn't see any problems.



    If I tried to install it again, there was no problem either.



    I tried the update from the Windows update settings, it failed twice and now it is no longer showing up.



    How can I update Windows?

    Update Windows 10 version 1909 to version 21H2

    Can I Update Windows 10 version 1909 to version 21H2 (latest)?

    Then Please send the useful steps to do that...

    By changing windows version 1909 to 21H2 does it removes all files(music, videos, software,etc.) present in my laptop or it is safe, nothing will be deleted.

    Now I am not getting critical updates for windows version 1909.

    Please anybody give suggestion regarding this matter.
