Windows 10: cannot update to window 10 1909 from 1809 with error 0xc142012

Hello I'm trying to upgrade to newer version, since about 8 months: hopefully Version 1909, but Iwould like to reach Version 2004

Please help me solving this issue, as it's so long that I have it and no one from Microsoft Official channel can send me a resolution.

Current status
OS Windows 10 x64 -Version 1809 OS Build 17763.113
Laptop model: Toshiba Tecra W50-A 32 GB RAM
free space 100+ GB
Bitlocker enabled with TMP on drice C:\ the only drive

In the past 8 months I cannot upgrade with Windows Update to Feature update to Windows 10, version 1909 with error 0xc1420121.
Same error for version 2004.
Disabled Sophos antivirus and do a clean boot removing all non-MS services.


Hence I execute as Administrator:

net stop wuauserv
net stop cryptSvc
net stop bits
net stop msiserver
Ren C:\Windows\SoftwareDistribution SoftwareDistribution.old
Ren C:\Windows\System32\catroot2 Catroot2.old
net start wuauserv
net start cryptSvc
net start bits
net start msiserver
And from PowerShell as Administrator
wuauctl.exe /updatenow
reboot and no luck.

removed TLD keys from registry that was giving me Profile notification of event Load for component {B31118B2-1F49-48E5-B6F5-BC21CAEC56FB} failed, error code is See Tracelogging for error details.

Completely disinstalled Sophos Antivirus

No USB device attached

Complete Disk CleanUp System Files, too

execute most of the command from WURESET program http://wureset.com/downloads.php

Reboted

retring with Windows Update to go to version 1909...

installing 70%....

Windows 10 update 1909

Hey,

I've just clean installed windows 10. It is build 1803.

Today awesome 1909 have launched. I want to update to 1909 but in settings it is showing me option to upgrade to 1809. My friend told me I have to upgrade to 1809, then 1903 and then finally 1909.

I want to directly upgrade to 1909 without going through intermediate steps. How can I do this?

 

problem updating from vers 1809 to 1909

I've tried updating my version of windows 10, a few times actually. Most recently I got error code 0x80070157 but I can't find any info on it and don't know why I'm having so much trouble. Another time I couldn't update because I had my updates set to
auto and it wouldn't update because another update was in progress. It seems odd to me that an update for vers 1909 would process when I have 1809. I would think the first step would be to see if there was a match instead of waiting to the to say oh we're
different I can't proceed. A kinda cart before the horse scenario. Anyway suggestions would be appreciated.

 

Windows 10 1909 Causes Secondary Hard Drive to not be Recognized

Installing the Windows 10 1909 Update causes my secondary hard drive to not be recognized.

Steps to confirm issue:

• Secondary drive not visible in Windows Explorer
• Secondary drive not visible in device manager
• Secondary drive not visible in disk manager

Steps to replicate issue:

• Installing 1909 update

Steps to resolve issue:

• Uninstall 1909 update

Since updates can only be delayed for so long, an actual fix would be appreciated.
