Windows 10: Cannot update to windows 10

Hi, I am still on windows 7 because it was compatible with some software I was using whereas windows 8 - 10 didn't seem to be. I have a problem now however in trying to update to windows 11 because what I have read says that I first have to update to windows 10. I have used both the media tool and the update assistant yet in both cases I get the following error: 0x80072F8FWhenever I looked the error up it said to run the network troubleshooter, which came back fine, and to make sure the time and date were synchronized which was also fine. Restarting my computer doesn't change anything, I have

• Under General, next to “Open File Explorer to:” choose “This PC.”
• Click OK
