Windows 10: Cannot update W10 to W10 Pro.... Can not find it in the AP store.... (new Dell Computer...

Installed W10 OK. Followed all instructions to upgrade to W10pro... that resulted (ended up) transferring me to a web page where I expected further instructions or an AP from/in the Ap Store.... However the web page was BLANK.


So, I went to the AP store another way and searched for an AP to do the upgrade... Could not find an AP.


What is best/least expensive way to upgrade to W10 Pro????

In Regards To W10 Forced/Free Update

If you are faced with a computer that shipped with W8 downgraded to W7 in which the HDD was pulled and destroyed. Is there a definitive way to determine through the BIOS if W10 was attained through a forced or free update from the original OS?

My understanding is the embedded OEM license would not have changed and should be viewable in BIOS. Short of installing the Home for Home or Pro for Pro version of W10 I'm quite acutely curious how else you would be able to know.

Question:

right now I made a bootable USB for W10, off my current installation which is a W10 Home.

Monday I'll use that on my new rig but I want to move to W10 Pro on that one. Is this possible with my bootable USB setup? My guess is that you just re-pick your version based on the activation code, amirite?
