    Windows does not update my defender because it says i have a internet or network connectivity problem,but the internet works as usual.Does anyone have any ideas about this?

    My windows defender cannot Update on windows 10. It constantly states error updating Windows defender

    windows defender won't update

    Windows 10 cannot update defender if it is blocked by a third party virus program. Update then blocks other updates from loading because defender cannot be loaded. Please let me disable the defender updates so other programs can receive the updates.

    You can try to update directly from the Defender window or see if in Services Defender is properly set. See screenshot. If the problem persist, then click help in Defender because there is a problem similar to the one you have in the link.

    Also. make sure that you don't have an apps that run in the background that may interfere with Defender. Defender doesn't need help and should run alone.
