Windows 10: Cannot upgrade to WIN 10 from WIN7 sp1

Hi All,
I have tried to upgrade from 7 to 10 at least 6 times and in every instance I get "The Installation failed in SAFE_OS Phase with an error during Replicate_OC operation 0x8007001f - 0x20006" then it reverts to back to 7. (To be clear, the install goes to the very end (100%) and then the message "Cannot continue" with the above error message and aborts the install.

I have tried to install from a USB stick and using Media Creator Tool then using clean boot, disabled AV etc., and even tried Safe Mode [I know, I know] but am getting desperate *Banghead. I think I can do a clean install but probably can't do it for free.

Toshiba Satellite L655 P6100 @2.00 GHz 2.GHz with 3 GB RAM, 64 bit Win7 SP1.

It's driving me crazy [which is not long trip]

problem on upgrading from win7 professional to win 10

i have this problem on upgrading from win7 professional to win 10. When windows update check for programs not compatible with win 10 list the following : microsoft virtual pc 2007 sp1 and

virtual pc 2007 sp1

and ask permission to remove both. I granted permission and the first was successfully removed but for the last windows update ask to remove it manually. The little problem is that this program dont exist and never existed on my machine. i reinstalled micrososoft
virtual pc upgraded to sp1 unistalled reboot but without any luck. Checked registry List of programs installed menu start all i can think of no istance of this program. I search on google the only virtual pc 2007 sp1 is the microsoft version so i am blocked
on this issue. Any suggestion? Thanks in advance.

Can't upgrade to Win 10 cause I can't update Win7 to SP1. that about says it. Tried WIndows update many times, tried to upgrade the computer using Win 7 disk to Win 7 with latest files...

Give me recommendations to get this machine to Windows 10. thanks

 

Win7 SP1 Home Upgrade to Win 10 moves apps/etc to Windows.old


I've ran the upgrade to win 10 twice now and its set to "Keep personal files and apps" even defaults to it like it should. But all the programs and such end up in Windows.old folder like I said "keep none" (I assume that is what happens).





I previously reverted back to Windows 7 and had no issue, this is running the upgrade from a usb or iso, same result.
