    Cannot use alt code input entirely


    Hi guys! I'm really out of ideas on this so I would really appreciate any help.

    I'm using Google Docs and unfortunately, unlike Ms.Word, non-breaking space (Ctrl+Shift+Space) and non-breaking hypen (Ctrl+Shift+ - ) shortcuts don't work on it. So, I've been using the hex codes for them. However, as I started working from home, I just realised that the alt input function on my laptop is somehow disabled. I tried several alt code combinations and none of them work.

    I have followed these suggestions (turn off Mousekey when numlock is on and to add EnableHexNumpad from regedit) from the Microsoft forum but it didn't help. I saw some other suggestions to TURN ON the Mousekey instead, which doesn't make sense for me because that means I can't use the numpad to put in number, and tried it anyway. Still doesn't work.

    Any helpful suggestions about what to check or how to fix is welcome! Thank you so much!

    It does do that, mlee. All buttons have tooltips with the alt code and a description listed in it.

    The masculine ordinal number in Spanish, Italian and Portugese? I'm not even sure what it is for ... lol

    Little Alt Code Utility

    I had originally thought of including all of the characters with accents and a lot of other special punctuation, but I was trying to keep the GUI small.
    The intent of this app was for quick characters when forum posting and not a comprehensive list of all the possible alt codes.
    I will give it some thought. Maybe a settings option so the GUI only displays the character sets that you need/want.

    Nice app, can it display the actual ALT code if you hover over the icon? That might be handy.

    Plus my favorite ALT Code is ALT+0186. *Smile Cannot use alt code input entirely :) I use it alot.
