Windows 10: Cannot use earphones because of driver issue, High defnition audio driver having a yellow...

Hello,I've been trying to use my earphones on my computer, but I can't and I'm not sure why I'm using aux earphones and trying to use it. I don't use it that much so I'm not sure if it uses to work before or not. I use an Inspiron 3647. I've done everything I could've deleted the driver, reinstalled it but I couldnt fix it. The High Definition Audio Controller has a yellow triangle. And I cannot find Realtek HD audio drivers anywhere on my computer. Please help me!

I don't have the IDT High Definition Audio Codec Driver installed on my computer

If you want to have the high definition audio codec driver on your computer, we suggest updating your sound driver. Follow the steps below to update sound driver.

• On Start menu and type
  Device Manager and press enter.
• Click Sound, video, and game controllers.
• Right-click IDT High definition audio codec and
  Update driver.
• If there are no update available, reinstall the driver by clicking Uninstall.
• Restart the computer. Download the drivers from the manufacturer’s website and install it.

We also suggest updating the chipset driver from your manufacturer's website. Click

follow the steps provided to install and update drivers in Windows 10.

I suggest you to download "High Definition Audio Device" driver of Windows 7 Ultimate from the manufacturer’s website and run Windows 7 Ultimate "High Definition Audio Device" driver in compatibility mode for your Windows 10 PC.

Refer the steps:

• Download the Drive from the manufacture’s website, Right click on the setup file and select Properties.
  
  
• Click the compatibility tab, tick the box next to Run this program in compatibility mode for and select Windows.

Hp Envy Driver missing

• Are you referring the missing driver as the High Definition Audio device
  with a yellow mark in the screenshot?

This issue could have happened due to corrupted driver files. Let's try reinstalling the driver and check if the driver can be recovered. Follow the below steps to re-install the driver.

• As you are already on the device manager, right-click on High Definition Audio device, and select
  Uninstall.
• Restart your PC and Windows will attempt to reinstall the driver.

If the issue still persist, I suggest you to run the hardware troubleshooter and check if the issue is resolved. Follow the below steps to run the Hardware troubleshooter;

• Type troubleshooting in the search tool.
• Click on Troubleshooting tab.
  
• Click on view all option on the upper left corner.
  
• Select the Hardware and
  Device options from the list.
• Click Next to run the Hardware
  and Device Troubleshooter.
