Windows 10: cannot use my pc to tranfer files from android phone.

have done it to other pcs, with the same cable and the same phone. Windows 11 Home23h2Windows Feature Experience Pack 1000.22700.1003.0AMD Ryzen 5 3550H with Radeon Vega Mobile Gfx phone is redminote8 miui 12.5.14.0 stablepc woont read diferent phone as well. Said phone works on other pc with the same cable.wont show up on device manager as mobile device. phone will only charge. the main diference i see between pcs is that the one that read the phone properly rins on intel cpu and the one that does not runs on amd. Could that be the issue ?

How to transfer files/pics from android phone to PC via BT?

No. That is totally unnecessary. @NavyLCDR in his post did not show all the steps. Here is what he left out... Connect the phone to the PC with a USB cable On the phone swipe down from the top to show notifications Locate the USB notification and open it

In the USB settings make sure Transferring files is selected.

Look for your phone in File Explorer

If you you double-click on it and nothing is shown that means you forgot to unlock the phone's screen

After you unlock the phone's screen the phone's storage will be shown

Double-click on the storage will show the contents. The phone's photos and screenshots will be in the DCIM folder.

 

Uploading data from android to pc

• Have you tried to connect the Android device to PC using an USB cable?
  

However, you may follow these steps to check if that helps:

• Connect the Android device to the PC using a micro USB cable.
  
• You can see an ‘AutoPlay popup’ on your PC once your phone is successfully connected and recognized by the computer. Click on the ‘Open folder to view files’ option.
  
• Copy and paste the files or folders that you want to recover from your phone's internal memory to your PC.
  
• When the steps are done, you can successfully recover and transfer your data from Android phone with broken screen to your PC.
  

Alternatively, if you have the data saved on an external SD card, then you can plug in the card to the PC to transfer the data. You may need an adaptor to read the SD card on the PC.

Tranfering video-music to nokia 6230i

I am trying to tranfer video-music file to my phone, PC suite converts it 3GP, but the media player won't allow me to add it to the play list to transfer to my phone.
