Windows 10: Cannot use Settings->Personalisation to change Lock Screen settings

Hello,
Is it possibly the Anniversary Update, which has blocked my possibilities to change the Lock Screen configuration? In Settings->Personalisation that whole option is greyed out today and I'm stuck with a lock screen, which I can't modify or change. Any help for this? Perhaps there is a registry change I could apply? I would be happy for any suggestion.

I've attached an image. My language is Swedish, but I guess that you will recognise the part of the Settings->Personalisation, which is shown.

I cannot set my background to windows spotlight as it is disabled.

How is this so and how could I set the background to windows spotlight?

You could have enterprise version with some options disabled, or you are connected to work (with account), which again could render some of the options unavailable..

Try open the picture you want to set as lock screen in the "Photo" app then on the right side click the little dots the select "set as" then Set as Lock Screen.

 

Got help to locate the program, which had blocked my possibilities to change anything about the lock screen. After that I applied your method and it worked like a charm! Thank you! *Smile

Good to know and please share with us what program was blocking your lock screen setting.

 

It was settings in an older version of Winaero Tweaker, which I had forgotten to modify, when both Windows updated and Winaero Tweaker released a new version following this update. Now all is fine again.*Smile
