    Hello,Windows Security has never recognised any combination or potential username or password I could think of when trying to view passwords in Edge or Chrome but in Win 10 Pro I bypassed the problem by clicking on 'More choices' and logging in with my user account.I have now set up a new Windows 11 Pro PC but I don't get the 'More choices' option so I cannot gain access any more.Windows 10Windows 11Same Username and Password box that have never worked on both, but Win 11 is missing the "More choices' option so I cannot access them.

    Why won't Windows Security reauthentication prompt accept my windows username and password to view passwords in chrome password manager?

    This is a re-authentication Windows Security prompt for login info to view my passwords in my chrome password manager but it does not accept my normal login information which I've confirmed many times. I've restarted the computer and reinstalled chrome several times and nothing works. I've looked for the "disable re-authentication" flag in chrome and it doesn't exist anymore. My MS username is an email address which works fine for logging into the computer but does not work for this security prompt for some reason?!?!? What is wrong and why can't I authenticate to view my passwords?? This is very frustrating!

    Upgrade to windows 10. Current password doesn t work

    Current password doesn t work incorrect. Reset password requirs some usb stick which is not in my posession. Any ideas ? Try to access microsoft account but non of my email adress is recognised so cannot try this option.

    Windows security asking for password to view passwords in Chrome, Windows 10

    I have set up my computer so that it does not ask for a password on startup, or for most activities, by following steps referred to others starting with running netplwiz. But when I'm trying to view my passwords in Chrome, Windows Security pops up and asks me for my password.

    Am I missing a different setting somewhere else?
