    Hi, I’m trying to help a friend set up an old CanonScanner but cannot get it to work. CanonScan Toolbox 4.9 has been installed, but displays a “unable to select TWAIN source” error message after I click scan. When using Canon Quick menu/ ScanGear, the error message states that it “cannot communicate with the scanner for these reasons: Scanner is turned [or] USB is disconnected…code 515669”. However, the light in the scanner is on, I have unplugged and replugged it into the usb port, and when looking at devices, the scanner is listed and completes the diagnostic testing without issue..I have tr

    In their wisdom, Canon have decided not to produce a Windows 10 driver for the 4200f scanner.

    In their wisdom, Canon have decided not to produce a Windows 10 driver for the 4200f scanner. This means that I'll need to buy a new scanner unless somebody can suggest a work round.
