    Canon Imageclass MF4350d recognized but not showing up in printer list in applications


    I have installed the necessary driver and manually installed it. In my devices and printers the printer is showing up but when I try to print from an application Acrobat in this example the printer is not available...

    Thanks for your help and I appreciate your patience. I followed your directions to the nth degree including trying to run the program in compatibility mode. It appears the driver loaded, and when I went to Settings, under Other Devices I saw the Canon
    icon. When I double clicked on it, the only option was to remove it (I didn't). Then I selected "Add Bluetooth or other Device" and selected "Add a Device" and then I selected "Bluetooth" "Wireless Display..." and "Everything Else". None of these discovered
    a Canon device. Then I went to Devices and Printers and tried to "Add a Printer." Since no printers showed up, I selected "The printer that I want isn't listed." Then I selected each of the options from "My printer is a little older. Help me find it" to
    "Add a local printer or network printer with manual settings" and again no Canon or Canon MF3240 was found.

    I also searched for Device Manager. I found Software devices and two MF3240 items: Canon MF3240 and Canon MF3240(Fax). The Canon MF3240 was for the Scanner program.

    Do you have more suggestions?
