Windows 10: Canon MX 870 printer not found, printed fine yesterday.

Win 10 and this is happening on all PC's all running W10 on my wireless network, they will no longer find the printer. All other devices are found. I went to the printers Canon MX870 control panel to manually connect to the wireless router and it connects - test is entering wrong p/w and it rejected wrong p/w. But none of the computers will print, says printer is off line and the troubleshooter can't fix. Tried turning off printer and laptops and restarting but still nothing.Any clues what the issue could be? Or is my printer now obsolete>

Canon MX 472

My Canon MX 472 printer works fine as a wireless printer from both my desk set and my laptop but I cannot get it to scan by placing a document or picture on the glass.

Canon MP810 printing problem

Are these the same Printer Cartridges since the problem started ???

As LemP points out the Ink Nozzles in the Ink Cartridges themselves are probably blocked.

Ink in Ink Cartridges Dries / hardens and blocks if left for a period of time.

They can even dry out all together.

The time factor on this happening to the Ink Cartridges can vary on the climate you are in / heat / cold / humidity including how the printer is used and stored.

• If this Canon Printer was more towards the top tier of printers ( say around $190 Dollars ) i would buy and replace all ink Cartridges.
• If this Canon Printer was of the cheaper variety ( say under $50 Dollars ) i would buy another cheap Canon Printer as it would not be justifiable to replace the Ink Cartridges in a Cheap Printer.

• With Cheaper Printers in general the Ink Cartridges would cost close to the replacement value of a Cheap Printer.

I would suggest buying new ink cartridges and use the printer more frequently.
