Windows 10: Canon Printer Install error - 0x800f020b Windows 11

Hello, I have been notified about a Canon Printer Install Error, but I do not have a Canon Printer. I have searched my computer and cannot find anything related to Canon products on it. I am unable to hide the update since I have Windows 11. I have tried another solution posted here: Install Error code 0x800f020b - Windows 11 - Microsoft Community and this did not work for me because the link provided no longer works.Any advice on how to get rid of this update notification?

Update keeps failing listing an "Install error - 0x800f020b Canon - Printer - 2.90.2.30"
I do not have this printer and it is not listed under my Devices and I have not been able to "find it" in my computer to "remove it" - the rest of my Windows updates are current as 4:03pm, 12/5/23.

Can I get an assist to find and remove printer or get rid of the update error code?

 

Queued Canon Printer Update fails install-Do not have Canon Printer

There is an update in the Windows Update queue (Canon Printer 3.50.2.60) that repeatedly fails to install ( error 0x800f020b). I DO NOT HAVE A CANON PRINTER! How can I remove this update from the queue? WIN Update is bogging down system performance by repeatedly trying, and failing, this install.

0x800f020b Canon driver failed on windows update. I keep getting this failure on my windoes updates. Its very strange because I do not own a Canon printer nor have I EVER owned a Canon printer. how can this be repaired?
