Windows 10: Canon Scanner is not recognising in Windows 11

I have revently purchased Dell Inspiron 15 3000 with windows 11 4GB RAM. I have one Canon Image Formula DR-C230 Scanner. When i connected this scanner with my laptop it did not recognise/ detect the scanner. Though the scanner is working perfectly fine in windows10. I installed the required drivers and software from canon website too. I did the lot of search on google too but could not get any concrete solution. So Please let me know, is there any tools or way around to resolve this..

Canon MP780 scanner not recognised by Windows 10 and Canon not upgrading drivers!

Is there a work around for this? My Canon MP780 mulit-function printer/scanner/ copier was working beautifully under Windows 7. With the Windows 10 upgrade, I have managed to get it to print......but sadly the scanner is not recognised.

Canon advises they are not providing any upgraded Window 10 drivers for this model.

Are there any clever people out there with a work around? Or is there such a thing as a "generic" driver or some scanning programme that will recognise it?

We understand your concern as you are unable to use the scanning option after the Windows Update. In order to get clarity and to assist you accordingly, please reply with the answers to the questions below:

• What is the Windows 10 Version and Build installed? (Type
  winver in Windows search/Run command)
  
• What is the exact model number of the Cannon Scanner?
  
• What is the KB number of the Windows Update installed prior to this issue?
  
• What is the error you are getting, while scanning?
  

Meanwhile, we would suggest you to update the scan driver and check.

1. Press Windows + X keyand selectDevice Manager
   from the context menu.
   
2. Spot and expand the “Imaging devices”.
   
3. Right click on the Scanner driver and select
   “Uninstall”
   
4. Check the box beside “Delete the driver software for this device”
   
5. Restart the PC and then install the driver from Canon website
   

If the issue persists, then we would suggest you to run Canon’s MF Toolbox in compatibility mode.

1. Firstly you need to uninstall the Canon MF Toolbox V 4.9.11mf18 from the PC
   
2. Then download the Canon MF Toolbox from the
   Canon website.
   
3. Enter your scanner’s model and follow the on-screen instructions to download the utility. Once downloaded, then install the application.
   
4. Now run the application and use it to send scanning requests to your scanner.

Canon MP495 scanner function not recognised by Windows 10 - printer works OK?

Hi. Recently upgraded from Win 8.1 to 10 - only to find my Canon Pixma MP495 multi-function printer/scanner/copier no longer recognised. It worked fine as printer and scanner on 8 and 8.1.

Downloaded and installed the latest drivers from Canon - all seemed good, the printer worked fine...however, tonight I've tried to scan a doc - Windows says no scanner is attached? Have re-downloaded and installed the Canon driver - it's still not seeing
the scanner function.

Can't seem to find a solution to this. Thanks, Microsoft!

Anyone come across this problem? Any help appreciated.
