    Canon Scanner Lide 120 showing black images sometimes


    My Canon Scanner Lide 120 shows black images sometimes not all the time. I installed the Canon IJ Utility from the Internet. It worked perfectly fine for about a year. But, the same issue is happening again now. Please help.

    CANON LIDE 210 - problem with WIA/TWAIN


    The problem is well described here: http://community.usa.canon.com/t5/General-Printer-Discussion/Canon-LiDE-120-Error-message-quot-Cannot-communicate-with/td-p/139470
    It seems that the problem occurs with many Canon scanner models while using Windows 8 or 10 (64 bit?) and ASMEDIA USB controller (ASUS motherboard).
    Some users suggest to uninstall the ASMEDIA provided driver and use Microsoft generic USB controller driver. I'll try it as soon I'll get home.

    canon scanner problem

    i have a cannon scanner lide 120 and window 10 with hp desktop computer. driver of canon installed. while work done it show usb cable not connected. but others computed it works.
